This is a photo of a bodhi tree in Hawaii. Bodhi is the type of tree that Buddha was sitting under when he became enlightened. The contemporary definition of bodhi is supreme knowledge or enlightenment. It is also defined as awakening. Thus we named our organization BodhiCare® and are establishing Enlightened Healthcare™ as a new approach to healing and health that is awake and aware of the entire constitution of a person and that there many resources around the world for healing. The heart shaped leaves of the bodhi tree represent the healing hearts and authentic love expressed through our shared calling to this work.
