Being a Green Hospital and Community Citizen BodhiCare™ will strive to be a good community citizen by operating with as little negative impact on the environment as is clinically and operationally possible. BodhiCare™ will follow the Green Guide for Healthcare (GGHC) standards for operations and for construction projects. The GGHC establishes standards for facilities management / maintenance, site management, chemical management, waste management, housekeeping / cleaning, food services and purchasing as well as innovative practices that extend beyond GGHC’s standards. The construction standards are modeled on the US Green Building Council’s Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design. |
